Last weekend, I made my first trip up to WA since moving back down to CA in late August. Just two months have passed and so much has changed already! One of the biggest changes was the addition of this little guy to the family... he's a ~14 month old Jack Russell Terrier mix. My bro got him, but he's currently staying with my sister in the house where my wife I just moved from. In the short time they've had him, his name's changed from Shorty to Oishii to Rafi to Rusty. Needless to say, he's still getting settled in, but he's doing well, aside from occasional submissive urinations. Ahhh... rescue dogs! Don't let that innocent face fool you... he can definitely hold his own at the dog park. He's going to be a great dog!
I feel blessed to be able to visit the family and also get to put on some fun tattoos with some good clients. I was able to fit in three tattoo sessions over the weekend. The first was a tribal arm band, in a way... a silhouette of evergreens to represent my clients' love for the Northwest. I was also able to finish the color on a full sleeve with koi and flowers, and start the background on another full sleeve of a tiger and dragon. Now that holiday season is upon us, ticket prices are unreasonably expensive, so the next trip up won't likely be until early 2014. Hopefully by then, the new pup has a settled name and control of his nervous bladder! =) Check out the pics and thanks for reading!
